a long, long time since i've posted on here, and for that i apologize. it's not like i didn't even think about it because i did. i just couldn't get myself to do it. i'll chalk it up to physical exhaustion spreading to my brain.
i dove back into training after being pretty lax during the holidays, and i've only missed one training day. albeit, i might have trained slightly less than the schedule called for, but at least i got out there, right? so here are some brief training highlights - and pictures, too!
jan 3: rode 6 miles
jan 5: swam 1100 yards
jan 6: rode 14 miles (in the gym)
jan 7: ran 3 miles
jan 8: swam 1300 yards
jan 10: ran for 1 hour including sprints & stairs
jan 11: rode 24 miles (from hb to pv and back; here's a map of the route!)
jan 12: swam 1000 yards at 7am!
jan 14: ran 3 miles
jan 15: swam 2000 yards (that's more than a mile!)
jan 17: brick - rode 8 miles, then ran 2.5 miles
jan 18: ran 3 miles
jan 19: swam 700 yards
jan 20: rode 13 miles (in the gym)
jan 21: ran 3 miles
jan 22: swam 1800 (that's also more than a mile!)
so there you are. all updated with my activites for the past couple of weeks. i'll try to be more diligent about the updates... and here are more pictures from previous swim and run training sessions. pictures from the jan 17 brick will be coming soon.
