500!

clearly this is one of the worst blogging attempts you've ever seen. i'm terrible, but i'm trying! i got a lot on my plate, people. :)

so, i'm just going to give you a few highlights and lowlights.

highlight:
ran a 10k, and cut 5 minutes off my original time - that's good for me. i HATE running.

lowlight:
have a bruise on the bottom of my foot from running said 10k in old shoes.

highlight:
sales guy said, "running shoes are only designed to last a maximum of 400 miles." i ran 400 miles?? i'll just assume i did. even half of that is awesome.

highlight:
remaining teammates that are training for teasure island tri asked to swim a 500 straight. i did! and i wasn't tired afterwards.

lowlight:
had to trim the sleeves of my wetsuit because they were too long. now water gets in... very, very cold.

lowlight:
went to a 6am ride on friday morning. no one else showed up.

highlight:
ended said ride watching a glorious sunrise, came home to a happy and playful baby and a loving and supportive husband. knew that i had to be doing something right in my life.

clearly, this training is not difficult enough for you. wetsuits and shoes are for wimps. kathy you are no wimp. also, don't use your regular bike. use a tricycle, not a little one cause that would just be obscure. but a adult sized one.
