sometimes i marvel at my own ineptitude. it's my first day back at work from being home sick for two days, and i'm already exhausted by 10am. so i decide that it's a great idea to go home for lunch, get some soup and take a nap. everything is going according to plan until i arrive at my driveway, where the post office vehicle is barring my entrance. he finally moves, and i park in the garage. get out of the car and realize - i don't have my house keys. i almost cried, i was so tired. then i got back to the office where i realized (at the back entrance of the building) that i don't have my keycard. so i have to go all the way back around the building to the front door to ask the security guard to let me in.
so, i woke up today at 734am. that never happens. i didn't actually get out of bed until almost 830. that always happens. i didn't really want to go to work. that usually happens. but this time, there was a legitimate reason. i have swollen glands! and my throat hurts.
